{:en}UpperTwo and Elitavia – normal flight

Oh, these working days of EVACE are a special atmosphere in which it is very difficult to find time to have a thorough conversation with interesting people. We have known the head of UpperTwo (representative office of Elitavia in Moscow) Galina Bondarevskaya and the head of Elitavia Michel Culomb for a long time, and it was all the more interesting to know how 2016 began for the Slovenian-Maltese business operator, its representative offices, which are well known enough in the domestic market.

In terms of numbers, Elit'Avia's traffic to Russia has dropped by almost 30% since the beginning of the year, but at the same time, the management segment has grown a little. According to Mr. Coulomb, Elit'Avia will grow in any case and in general the forecast for the current year is favorable. “We give a very good 'price tag', and the owners are again gradually showing interest in purchasing aircraft. All this allows us to hope that the picture will change for the better by the end of the year. In any case, Russia is one of the main markets for our company. “

And, of course, Mr. Coolomb could not help but talk about his Russian partners – Upper Two. “We are very pleased to have found such reliable partners in Russia. Upper Two, represented by Galina Bondarevskaya, makes our work in Russia very comfortable. Therefore, we will continue to unite our efforts in sales, flight operations and improve service for owners. “

Now the company is considering possible options for entering the domestic Russian market, which will provide both volumes and new customers. And here Elit'Avia will be helped by a Russian partner. “We will try not only to carry out one-time flights, but also to participate in various government tenders for flights. Our company's experience, recommendations and, of course, a modern diverse fleet of aircraft give us a chance to actively start working in the interests of large Russian corporations, ”adds Ms. Bondarevskaya. The owner of the Upper Two company comments on the market situation as tough, with intense competition, but with positive dynamics, since the summer is actively “jammed” with flights and many companies go to meet each other and want to work. For example, it has become easier to negotiate and find an empty leg among the Russian brokerage industry.

Well, a little history. Elit'Avia was founded by private investors in Ljubljana ten years ago. And it was our compatriots who became the first clients of the company, which became the basis for long-term partnerships and strong friendship. Starting with aircraft management, Elit'Avia's portfolio of services has gradually expanded. Now the company operates in almost all niches, including the purchase / sale of aircraft and transaction support, as well as concierge services (tourism, transfers, visas, etc.).

“We do not strive for volumes: we do not need a huge fleet with mind-boggling traffic, we are focused on clients, namely, on highly professional personal service. We need a balance of interests, with the owner of the aircraft playing the main violin, ”says Michel Coulomb.

Now Elit'Avia's fleet consists of 22 aircraft, including the flagships Bombardier Global 6000 and Gulfstream G450, which is based in Moscow's Vnukovo-3. Ten aircraft are available for charter flights. Last month Elit'Avia signed very important management contracts in France. We are talking about three Dassaul Falcon aircraft (Falcon 50/900 / 2000LX), which will be registered under the Malta registration. The French market is quite complicated and it is very difficult for a foreign company to break into it, therefore Elit'Avia is full of optimism.
